An introduction to the fighting methodology called the
Snow Tiger Combat Systems
The Snow Tiger Combat Systems is a nine animal sub-system, each a complete and distinct fighting system within itself, but allowed to flow seamlessly from one animal system into another without being seen. The nine animals are the Boar, Bull, Tiger, Eagle, Python, Viper, Leopard, Cobra and Ghost (of the Snow Tiger).

Each animal is complete, but when combined, it makes for an incredibly aggressive fighting system. It encompasses all ranges of combat, short, medium, long, grappling, joint manipulation, breaks, wraps etc. Its primary purpose is to stop an opponent or multiple opponents in as short a possible time, seconds to be more precise, utilizing as little energy output as possible. The end result is a confrontation that ends within seconds, by taking more than five times the force necessary to the attacker to end the engagement.

Each student embraces the defensive and offensive nature and personality of each animal, regardless of size and gender, utilizing his hands, feet, elbows, knees, and knuckles etc. as weapons used by each animal.

The Snow Tiger Combat Systems has been in existence for approximately forty years, with early origins in Knoxville, Tennessee and Baltimore Maryland. It has been active in Charlotte, North Carolina for ten years under the tutelage of Dale Gopaul, a 5th degree black belt with over twenty years of experience in the STCS. Mr. Gopaul continues to grow and develop the program as it evolves in a rapidly changing society.

The system is headed by Master Technician Lee Cunningham of Baltimore, MD, a 9th degree black belt in the system with over forty years overall martial arts experience.
